Mesh Morpher Classic

Mesh Morpher Classic is the original Mesh Morpher plugin: a focused toolset for creating, editing, organizing and shipping morph targets inside Unreal Engine 5 - including the skeleton-aware workflows that plain morph editing cannot handle, like fitting bones to shapes, baking MetaHuman DNA expressions and driving everything at runtime in packaged games.

Why morph work still needs a dedicated tool

Creating a blendshape is the easy part. Real character work means keeping hundreds of morphs organized, fixing the skeleton so animation does not break when proportions change, refitting eye and teeth components after a sculpt, and playing the result back at runtime. Classic covers that entire lifecycle in one plugin.

What you can do with it

Sculpt and wrap morph targets

Create morphs with the in-editor sculpt tool, or generate them by wrapping other meshes with the Wrapper - rigid, non-rigid and elastic fitting guided by control points, as shown in the MetaHuman to DAZ wrapping tutorial.

Fix skeletons with the Poser and Bonesnapshots

The Poser bakes skeletons, meshes and DNA expressions, creates morphs from poses and generates correctives. Bonesnapshots fit the skeleton to your morph targets so Character Creator 4 morphs and full-body MetaHuman morphs animate correctly - no baking required.

Edit MetaHuman DNA bone expressions

Modify DNA bone expressions and bake them into the DNA file, generate bone-driven expressions from sculpted morphs, or repair blink expressions on custom MetaHumans - without Maya.

Refit, measure and correct

The Relative Restore tool refits MetaHuman eye, teeth and saliva components in one click after a sculpt. The Ruler tracks how morphs, animations and curves move your points of interest. The RBF Deformer performs handle-based deformations with a wide kernel library.

Author Pose Drivers without Maya

Create RBF Pose Drivers from selected bones and export them straight to Animation Blueprint nodes - pose assets and animation sequences are generated for you.

Stay organized at scale

Folders and subfolders, wildcard and expression search, vertex-count filters, color coding, favorites and bulk renaming keep large morph libraries manageable. Export the structure to JSON and reuse it across meshes - it shows up in Persona too.

Ship it at runtime

All modules are pre-compiled and can be packaged with UnrealGame target builds: load Bonesnapshots and drive morphs in the packaged game. A subscription is only required while you use the editor tooling - shipped games do not need one.

Sync with Blender

Mesh Stream sends a mesh to Blender or another DCC and receives sculpt updates live - no export and re-import loop.

Which Mesh Morpher is right for you?

All three products share the same core technology. The short version: Classic if you live in Unreal and need morph targets that ship in your game, Graph if you want the full node-based pipeline inside the editor, Studio if you want that pipeline without Unreal Engine.
